A Message from the Chair

Hello Everybody,

Isn’t it nice that we are finally getting some nice weather - sunshine, flowers appearing in the garden - maybe Spring is on it’s way.  Lets hope it lasts!!

To get you in the “Spring mood”, we have some great activities planned for the Easter Holidays.  Of course there is the annual Easter Egg Hunt combined with some Arts and Crafts.  Then we have a trip to the Cotswold Farm Park to hopefully see the new Spring Lambs.  We also have Horse Riding, a visit to Hop, Skip and Jump and finally an outing to @Bristol.  A new experience for Arts and Crafts will be Mosaic designing - something I am really looking forward to.  After all that you will be looking forward to going back to work and school for a well earned rest!  Before that there is the Swimarathon for which we have entered two teams - adults and children.

At this point I would like to welcome Sarah Miller to our team.  Sarah is our new Project Support Worker covering Emma’s Maternity Leave.  She has already met some of you during half term in February and at the last Coffee Morning.  Sarah is in the office every day except Tuesday from 9am if you would like to pop in and meet her.

The winner of the January Newsletter Competition is Nichole McGhee, Well Done! Please get your Mum to call in the office and collect your prize.  The new competitions are on pages 12 and 13.

I would also like to mention our brilliant After School Club.  There are some places available at the moment so if you are aged between 8 and 15 (afraid that rules me out then - just!!) get in touch with the office and Sarah or Peggy will give you the details.  There really are some fantastic things to do - cinema, bowling, cooking, golf, sailing to name but a few things on the agenda.Right, that’s all for now.

Hope to see you soon - and don’t eat too many Easter eggs!!

Jan
