A Generous Personal Donation
We have received a donation from Mr and Mrs. Allen who recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary and as they have everything they could possibly need they asked their guests to make a donation to our charity instead of receiving presents. They responded positively and raised £980.00 for CADCAF. They knew of our existence as their grandson has been involved as a CADCAF member in the past and was helped greatly by the activities we run.
New Funding Award
We have been awarded Co-operative Community Funding recently from the The Midcounties Co-operative to purchase a new computer for the CADCAF office.

BBC Children In Need
CADCAF have been lucky enough to secure funding towards the Project Support Workers salary and activity costs for the next three years.
Glos County Council
Funding has been approved for the CADCAF counselling service.
Mayor of Cheltenham’s Charity Appeal
CADCAF have received a total of £8665.07 as shared proceeds of the above Appeal. The other two charities sharing the Appeal money were Grippers and Leonard Cheshire Home.
Mayor of Cheltenham’s Charities
Unfortunately, the Mayors fundraising events have now come to an end. We have had a fantastic response to all of the events that took place during the past year from coffee mornings to the annual ball and many more besides.
With the other two charities working closely with CADCAF (Leonard Cheshire Homes and Grippers) and regular meetings with John Rawson and his PA Jennie Ingram we raised a staggering £20,000 to be split between the three charities.

We can’t thank John and his staff enough for all of their hard work and commitment throughout the year and for the support everyone has shown at the events to raise money and awareness for our charities.
Thanks also go to Julie Wales and Sue Cole for their continued support at the monthly meetings and various other fundraising tasks they committed themselves too.
Overall the Mayors Charity work has been a great success and we hope that the other charities will have as much joy spending the money as we will organising trips and activities for our members to enjoy.
The Street Collection which took place on Saturday 17th May in the town centre raised a total of £20.83. Thank you to all of the members and volunteers that turned up to help on the day; we appreciate your support. We think next year we may try something a little different to raise money as the street collection wasn’t as successful as we had hoped.
The Hewlett Arms Pub were also kind enough to display a collection tin for CADCAF which was situated on their bar for customers to donate during Race week at Cheltenham. This raised a total of £13.92 which will be put towards refreshments at future CADCAF events. Many thanks to the Bar Manager for his kindness and support.
The Cream Tea this year went extremely well. There were homemade cakes/cards for sale along with products from Avon and Phoenix Trading. The morning was very pleasant and we were blessed with fine weather!! CADCAF made a total of £51.85. Many thanks to Jan for all of her hard work making and donating the cakes that were on sale. They went down very well, as always!!
